The movie was filmed at an actual campground called "Elsen's Little Farm on the River" and was open every night of filming, so the production crew had a tough task of making it look abandoned.
While filming the cast and crew was unaware who the actor was that played Charlie Varsin. Roman Jossart (director) was the only one who knew. He did this in hopes that the cast would be scared in real life and show it on camera.
The ending scene leaving the campground is another campground located 3 miles from Little Farm on the River.
While editing the film Roman Jossart decided to go with a "green" feel to the movie rather than the traditional blue in hopes of separating his film from others.
When Actress Anna Love's character Heidi calls her boyfriend Brandon in the beginning of the film, She is turning the steering wheel. Director Roman Jossart had this timed to where he could see the Batman Symbol for a split second on the wheel before straightening the car out. Roman has a big love for Batman.
