Anita Malfatti goes through a deep desolation after the critic "Paranoia ou
Mystification" by Monteiro Lobato to his famous 1917 exhibition, which highlights the
beginning of the modernist movement in Brazil. Anita struggles to overcome the biggest disappointment
of her life, her best friend Mário de Andrade tries to help her overcome what happened,
with time Mário resorts to Oswald de Andrade and the two try to convince Anita to
participate in the Modern Art Week of 1922.
