This season started after what was meant to be the end of the series. It picked up from a low-point and already raised the stakes significantly and cleverly.
Throughout the season, there were many excellent plot twists, enabled by strong characters and solid character-building. This season really managed to flash out the ninjas, giving them personality differences, making them feel all unique despite their similarities. Ultimately this season had excellent build-up, with a stellar finale, that broke grounds for the series and was very emotional, and character-driven whilst also remaining action-packed and intriguing.
