"Best App Ever" -Comic Book Guy

As a fan of the show since it first aired in 1989, I found this game to be very fun on my android devices. It is pretty fun, however if there were ever a port of this game to the PS4, it would be even better.

So, Homer destroys the town in a nuclear disaster because he was not doing his job. Seems to be legit! It is fun to find the characters and do the quests. The only downside I guess is the waiting.

You have to make sure you have an Origin account in case your game is deleted though. Having an account is the only way to really save. You can also use different android devices to play as well if you have an Origin account.

I was able to find a secret Jebediah Springfield statue in the game by clicking on Homer Simpson 5 times repeatedly. I was given 10 donuts and the statue. You can find fun stuff in the game if you look and click enough.

The tie-ins for the current episode are usually pretty fun too, as you get items and costumes for characters that generally wouldn't be available. It literally is the best app for android or iOs devices, so let's play!!

Tapped Out, it Tapped Out my Bank Account

Tapped out is a very addictive game, I check it every day. The story is that Hmer destroys the town after an accident at the Power Plant and now must build the town. The game is constantly updated with new events, which keeps it fresh, with so much tapping your fingers are guarrenteed to turn yellow*. Epidode Tie ins are also fun as they co- incide with the show. I love how you can recreate Springfield in your own way. Also Squidport is my next favourite part, with its hilarious buildings. The game has a overwhelming sense of itself and always breaks the 4th Wall. The premiums I have bought are, USS Tom Clancy Pet Shop + Jub-Jub Candy Kevin Duff Party Bus Lincoln's Cabin + Lincoln and Mr Sparkle Billboard. The Mystery Box which you get if you play for 5 days in a row will give you prizes, don't buy them or Homer Budda's, not usually worth the donuts you pay for them. If you are a fan of The Simpsons or just like city building games you must play this. Add Me- mattawesome2

P.S: This Game Will Ruin Your Life * Not an Actual Guarrentee

Best phone app game ever!
chazbert12 October 2014
I am a huge Simpsons fan and I was really excited to get this game when I did on Christmas 2013 on my new phone I could not wait to get on the game and it has been awesome and still is.

As of now I am currently really enjoying the Halloween 2014 event (My favourite event so far) I recommend everyone to get this game!

Pros:

Tons and Tons of quests, characters, Decorations and Buildings to collect! Many free and many premium so it is fair.

A level system for your town and special friend point levels to unlock special prizes.

Krustyland theme park for rides from loads of Simpsons episodes.

Many events for example valentine events, Christmas events, Easter events, Halloween events and many many many more all with exclusive prizes and premium content.

Episode cross-over events with exclusive stuff!

Help your friends Springfield's out!

Constantly updated with new content, Characters, Buildings and decorations premium and non-premium!

And best of all the game is free to download!!!

Cons:

Force out of game glitch: This glitch is really annoying and at random moments it forces you out the game and it has got to a point where I have to uninstall and re-install the game to make it work again since the Halloween event 2014 it even sometimes makes you lose a small amount of recent progress for example if you helped out a friend or collected money from a building and the glitch happens you may have to do that stuff again.

The game can take up a lot of memory especially bad for phones with terrible memory.

But other then that it is an awesome game that is really addictive so all in all 9 out of 10!

An addictive game
Solar_Dragon3 August 2013
Warning: Spoilers
I started playing Tapped Out on the day it came out in the UK. Since then, I play nearly every day. I have all the event and limited items in some quantity. The game is highly addictive and it keeps me coming back every now and then to check on quests, collect money and send characters on tasks. There is only one major problem with this freemium game, the costs of the premium items. At the start of the game, you could purchase a premium character for 30 donuts. Now, it has been hitting 90 donuts for a character alone. This can be a lot of money to some people to spend on a game. However, you do not need to purchase anything to keep playing the game, it's just extra stuff.

The game often gets updates to tie in with new episodes of The Simpsons. These can be anything from decorations to buildings and characters or costumes. Since these tie in with new episodes, it also adds a sense of continuity between the game and show.

Another thing the game does well is mock the NRA. The NRA sent in complaints about the in-game text and then with the Krustyland update, Lenny or Carl said that they could be shot, just stop talking bad about guns or the NRA will complain again.

The story lines of the quests in the game are often funny and it brings back a sense of nostalgia to see updates based on older episodes come into the game as well. Although some updates (i.e. Whacking Day) can get tedious and boring whilst other parts of the game (the Squidport Tiles) made many users annoyed at the game.

Tapped Out is love. Tapped Out is life.

In my number ten apps list it goes: 10. Tapped Out 9. Tapped Out 8. Tapped Out 7. Tapped Out 6. Tapped Out 5. Tapped Out 4. Tapped Out 3. Tapped Out 2. Tapped Out 1. Tapped Out

But seriously, I think it's a great game. Probably worth nine, but I'm giving it that because of my experience in general. Humorous writing, many references and some great (and limited timed...) buildings new and old. A fun app to play around with, and one to enjoy. I mean, who doesn't like a game that's marketing material is literally "This game will ruin your life." It is filled with radioactive donuts that can speed things up and build stuff. Seriously. That is the game. It's great. It's filled with myPads, Mapple stores and Krustylands. Download it. Buy donuts. Ruin your life.

Decent game but not the best.
danielefb11 August 2022
The Simpsons tapped out isn't the best game out there but ... it's not that bad either.

Good qualities: Well done design, easy to manage (you don't have to take too many responsibilities), cool themes, well voiced.

Bad qualities: You cannot completely rotate a building, sometimes very slow, it wants to force you to buy donuts at all costs, otherwise it is difficult to get many, some characters are not dubbed and / or you cannot translate their dubbing.

To much t

Hi I'm Fred and I've been playing this game since 2012 and Every time I want to play, I need to put my age, confirm my email with a code and wait about 20 min to install 3700 MB of updates 😤 😫.

WHYYYYYYY I can't just log in and play like in other games like COD MOBILE ????

I can understand the updates when you change the game from Christmas to Summer or whatever.

Sometimes I don't play for weeks because of this !!

And why exists Krustyland tickets when we can't use them for nothing?

I think you should stop to think a little about this nice game and try to give us the users more playability and fun.

Thanks 🙏🏽 and hope you can solve this issues.

The only Simpsons Game that I really play
auskooper23 December 2023
Simpsons Tapped Out is a typical rebuild the town game about Springfield of the Simpsons. Events happen very frequently, with an event starting one week after the previous one ended. I find this is a good game for being a completionist. There's a lot of characters and buildings to unlock. It takes a while to unlock everything, if you don't have the money to buy donuts to rush jobs and help get characters. Every character and costume has a quest line when you unlock them. Sometimes buildings that don't have a character that is unlocked with it but most likely it won't have a storyline to go with it. Most to all voice lines are taken from the show. Honestly, I would like there to be some game exclusive voice lines. The characters who are voiced by the main actors are the ones with voice lines. I wish some other characters that aren't voiced by those actors got voice lines, like Helen Lovejoy, Agnes Skinner, and Milhouse. Overall, I find it alright though some parts could be improved.
