A killer is threatening the small town of Helgon City. The media strongly advise not to exit in the streets after 8pm, for the danger of the killer. The advise is way more a pretext to make people stay at home and watch their Tv programs, than to really protect the population, for there is no proof the killer murders in the night. Millie and Deborah are childhood friends. They meet that day at Deborah 's house. After having watched a movie, Millie decides to leave and go back home. Deborah is so much influenced and scared by the situation that wants to prevent Millie from going out at night, but Millie cannot accept such a manipulation from the media for she knows the killer could have killed before and after 8 without any problem. Millie decides to go out, scared but convinced of her beliefs. She prefers to die rather than to let a corrupted institution prevent her from living. In the streets she hears some footsteps and sees strange shadows... But she is home. Safe. When, suddenly, a light is turned on in the house by someone else.
