First of all - what a touch of class from 'Strictly' to include the lovely Amy Dowden in the credits. Keep fighting on Amy!
This was a long outing for the show. I can see why they've moved on from half the cast dancing one week and then the rest the next, but with no dance off in week 1 this does feel slightly pointless.
The dances themselves ranged from the good to the average to the utterly forgettable. By the end of the night I couldn't remember certain ones.
Nigel and both Angela's stood out for me, Les Dennis did too but not for the right reasons.
It was a fun nights viewing, but you can certainly see a lot of dead wood that will need to be cut loose before this really becomes a contest.
