Before she sat down to listen to Taylor Swift’s surprise double album The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology, Samantha Roberts, of Portland, Oregon, felt open to the idea of a 31-song album. But two hours and two minutes later, she changed her mind. “Ttpd absolutely did not need to be that long,” Roberts tells Rolling Stone over email.
Roberts found the album “messy, unfocused, and in need of a good editor,” a sentiment echoed by Brooke Thames, a Pennsylvania resident and Swiftie since the Speak Now era. Thames described...

The ever-expanding universe of Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department has spread out once again. The singer and songwriter has released new versions of three songs from the newly-released album. The earliest recorded editions of “The Black Dog,” “Cassandra,” and “Who’s Afraid Of Little Old Me?” billed as “the first draft phone memo” versions are available for purchase now — but not for long.

Taylor Swift effectively destroyed Kim Kardashian’s Instagram following with her new music. The singer dropped her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, on Friday, April 19. The pop star brought up their feud again in two new tracks. Keep on reading for the latest updates.
Taylor Swift – Ruins Kim Kardashian’s Instagram Reign
Kim Kardashian is one of the most-followed celebrities on Instagram. Taylor Swift ruined that for the Skims founder thanks to her devoted Swifties. The singer released two songs about her ongoing feud with the Hulu star. The tracks are called “thanK you aIMee” and “Cassandra.”
The songs seemingly referenced their long-standing feud involving Kim and her ex-husband Kanye West. Taylor even brought their children into it. Their feud impacted Kim’s Instagram following.
She lost 100,000 followers on Instagram after those two scratching tracks dropped. The reality star isn’t happy with Taylor mentioning their feud once again.

Okay, Taylor Swift went there. Already, fans are convinced there are two diss tracks – three if you believe some accounts – aimed at Kim Kardashian and her husband Kanye West. And if you think the track “Cassandra” wasn’t plain enough, there’s no denying “thanK you aIMee” is all about our very own Kim Kardashian.
Kim would want Taylor to move on, but Taylor would sing that it’s only because Kim didn’t know the damage she did.

After “thanK you aIMee” dropped, Kim Kardashian lost over 120,000 fans on Instagram. While she wouldn’t sweat it too much – I mean she’s got more followers on the platform than Ms. Swift herself – she would feel the sting of it.

Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department has been breaking records and has taken over the world despite having been out for only a day. On top of the originally announced 16 songs, the artist released 15 more, making it a double album release and making fans’ heads spin. There have been a lot of mentions in the project about her personal life, which naturally comes with songwriting. While none have been confirmed, fans believe Joe Alwyn, Travis Kelce, and Matty Healy to be the muses of certain songs.

It appears that Taylor Swift has two songs about Kim Kardashian on her new album The Tortured Poets Department.
Swifties were quick to hypothesize that the song “thanK you aIMee” was about the Skims mogul. After all, her name was spelled out in all caps in the song’s title. After a closer listen, some believe that Taylor is also singing about Kim and her ex-husband Kanye West on “Cassandra.”
Head inside to listen to “Cassandra” and see where the references come in…
If you were unaware, Taylor‘s feud with Kim and Kanye has its roots in Kanye‘s song “Famous.” In the lyrics, he referred to her as a “b-tch” and said that he made her famous.
Kim and Kanye defended themselves in the aftermath of the song’s release, sharing an edited conversation that they had with Taylor. The unedited recording was eventually leaked, affirming details from...

The last time Taylor Swift released an album, Midnights, she surprised everyone by dropping a 3 A.M. Edition later that night, loaded with new songs. But it turns out that this time, 3 hours was too damn long for her to wait. At 2 A.M. last night, with no warning at all, Swift announced that her brand-new (and excellent) The Tortured Poets Department was secretly a double album all along. She had another 15 songs ready to go, adding up to 31 in all. (That’s right, 13 backwards.) She really is drilling down...

Spoilers ahead for episode 5 of X-Men ’97.
After decades’ worth of patience, X-Men ’97 delivers upon a promise of good television with a near-perfect adaptation of Marvel’s mutant superheroes. The series, which recently took the entire world by storm, represents the hope carried by fans since the original show’s run in the 90s. Although nothing ever quite became as iconic as that period’s cartoon when it comes to Marvel animation, X-Men ’97 comes pretty close.
X-Men ’97 [Credit: Disney+]However, with the series’ mid-season cliffhanger finale, one thing becomes evident – the show certainly knows how to raise fan expectations. But one factor which could have made the series uber-popular ends up being a misdirection, and even though the plot twist manages to shock the audience and leave them with questions, the show’s director does a good job too of crushing those dreams and expectations in one swift blow.
