Penn & Teller return for a 10th season with more entertaining fun featuring magicians from around the world. Especially fun for the 10th season opener was Penn Gillette's daughter Moxie. From the onset she had already fooled Teller & especially her father Penn, who believed her to be in Europe with her mother for the past several weeks (fake pictures sent, misleading calls from Moxie & her mother about their travels, etc) & it was fun to see Penn truly shocked. I won't spoil whether she fooled the boys with her magic, but that part of the episode was especially lots of fun.
Unfortunately, not nearly as fun was Brooke Burke, who is about as entertaining as a turnip. She ambled around the stage seemingly unclear as to what to do, muttered most of her lines to the point they were unintelligible & generally acted aloof, confused & so low energy it felt like she truly didn't want to be there. For someone who seems to be mostly know for being a host, she came across as bored & embarrassed. She brought an otherwise fairly entertaining episode down with an awkward, unprofessional thump. Hope she doesn't stay.
