The photomicrograph on one page of Clark's notes (that Danvers is examining) is labelled 'Ribosomal DNA', but ribosomes do not contain DNA, only RNA and protein. 'Ribosomal DNA' is a real thing (the genes that code for ribosomal RNA) but the photos only show cells, some with chromosomes visible, not individual genes.
The officers discover that Lund, despite being frozen to the core, is miraculously still alive when they inadvertently break off one of his arms. However, this portrayal contradicts the scientific fact that freezing does not render bones brittle. In reality, breaking a human arm, frozen or not, would necessitate a significant application of force.
At the beginning of the episode, the crime scene is lit by floodlights which appear to be powered by a diesel generator but no motor can be heard.
