Absolute masterpiece! Captivating and my favourite film 2023 has to offer (and that's including all the Barbenheimer shenanigans).
There is so much talent condensed into one charming film. To summarise... Conti is narratively captivating, visually striking and audibly haunting. I hope you all have the pleasure of watching this in a cinema setting (as the sound is a unique character in the world of Conti)!
Dina Grønbeck's performance as Isla was incredibly charming, although the entire ensemble of cast were fantastic. It would be criminal of me not to commend the coffee scene, specifically Filip's creative and absurd cameo!
Personally, I didn't experience an 'emotional rollercoaster', I would liken it more to an 'emotional snowball', growing and growing until it reaches an emotional crescendo.
