A nice journey.

I enjoyed this journey in the Pyrenean mountains: beautiful landscapes and nice encounters.

There are two interestings aspects: the Pyrenean gastronomy (Eric Abadie-the sheep farmer and restaurant chef-, Jean-Pierre St. Maitre, the chef of "Le Viscos", Paul Font-Vieille, the chef of "L'auberge d'antan, the old reicipe of the rotten milk wrapped in bulrush leaves, the local products-vegetables-pork and mutton-) and the caves of the Pyrenean mountains ( Christophe Levillain and his family exploring caves, the cave of Betharram managed by Albert, the gouffre d'Esparros with ar.agonite crystals, the cave of Moulis where Jean Clobert is studying the life of the proteus or olm).

I enjoyed very the encounters of Sophie with Jean-Jacques Vedere and Daniel soucaze (the observatory of the Pic du Midi, the beautiful panorama), with Isabelle Mir and the priest Francis in St-Lary Soulan (the visit of the church, the skiing ) , with the snowboarders Manuel Bernia and Patrick Pesquet (the training of the snowboarders,Xavier de Le Rue the world champion of snowboarding), with Benoît Cockenpot-the breeder of the Pyrenean MMountain dogs called in French Patou, a livestock guardian dog-), with Francçois Baye, the mayor of Lescun, the quiet place for hiking and with the people of St-Lary Soulan (Pierre Forgue preparing the famous "garbure"-a soupwith carrots, turnips, cabbages, white beans and pork- and the supper with them-a great moment of friendliness-).
