- Jack and Marjorie are backpacking through India. They board a bus which later picks up a grandmother, Yashika and two children Anjali and Geetika (4months) who sit beside them. Jack and Marjorie chat together about India, Jack finds the poverty arresting and Marjorie asks him to see beyond initial appearances to the rich culture and history. She scratches her insect bites continuously. Arriving at a busy bus station, the tourists are startled by Yashika calling out the window to Vikram (16) but is unable to attract his attention as he scrolls on his phone. Yashika is forced to get off the bus asking Marjorie and Jack to save her seat, she will be back shortly. Marjorie kindly offers to nurse young Geetika in the meantime. Vikram gets told off by Yashika. Marjorie and Jack muse as to what is happening, but Marjorie is actually ensconced by the gorgeous baby. Moments later the bus driver returns and starts the engine. Marjorie panic's and she tries to tell the driver that Yashika has not returned but he doesn't understand English. The bus starts to move away, Marjorie and Jack freak out at the prospect of being left a baby. Marjorie screams at the passengers in the disbelief of being left a small child, probably deliberately. In her rage she doesn't notice the bus has stopped and behind her is Yashika. The bus had just moved around the terminal to the passenger pick up point. Yashika gives Marjorie some medicine for her mosquito bites as a thank you for minding Geetika. As the bus continues on its journey Marjorie and Jack sit among the passengers, humiliated and ashamed at their outspoken assumptions.
