Several props were purchased from Egypt and had many issues with customs upon entry into the United States. Cast and crew worried that the items might be haunted.
All of the women in this film, and most of the men, were over 40 years old.
The final chant translates in Egyptian (Coptic) to "Blood, Bones, Flesh"
The sets were built over a period of a few weeks during record temperatures during the summer of 2023. Most days were over 100 degrees and humid, causing difficulty with plaster and paint drying.
Iabou Windimere was the only member of the cast to climb the Rope during filming. She is a practiced Aerialists in Silks and Aerial Pole but learned To use the rope a few weeks before filming.
