The years pass by, with both parties still serving their days in prison. Decades on, and Jens continues to protest his innocence, in that time he turns to God, and continues to campaign for his own release.
It's a somewhat shocking look beyond the crimes and aftermath, taking us up to present day. I think I'm more confused now than I was in the first episode.
I wondered if we'd get to hear from Elizabeth, it's clear she wants to live out the rest of her days away from the spotlight. It does mean the series has been a little one sided, with only the viewpoint of Jens.
I was a little shocked to see the reception Man for when he returned home to Germany, the guy was given a hero's welcome, sorry, but that was just bizarre,
Wow, that really was a shocking revelation, some 33 years on, and the pair are both released, I was not expecting that outcome. Two lives were taken, and two more lives were virtually taken.
Will we ever know the truth? I doubt it.
8/10.
