The Shadows were an instrumental pop group from 1958. Until 1968 they also served as the backing band for Cliff Richard from 1958 to 1968, as well appearing in several movies with Cliff.
They are bona fide legends of the rock and pop era. Cited as an influence by Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton, Brain May, Mark Knopfler, Tony Iommi and others.
This presentation was a recording of their final tour in 2004. Hank Marvin, Bruce Welch and Brian Bennett together one last time at the Cardiff Indoor Arena. Although they would unite with Cliff Richard a few years later.
The concert features their hits such as Apache, Ghost Riders In The Sky. Their hits with Cliff such as Summer Holiday, Bachelor Boy with either Hank or Bruce taking on vocal duties.

The band members recall stories from the various decades, unsure of the exact dates. Humorous banter between old friends. The playing is so tight after six decades of playing together.
The show is a must for fans, it might not win over new fans. Hank seems to be rivalling Cliff in the looking young stakes.
