- TriviaIn the previous season, Sheldon's plans to go to Germany seemed to fulfill what Sheldon said in Season 1 of The Big Bang Theory (2007), specifically The Pancake Batter Anomaly (2008), where he said he was abroad in Germany as a teenager, except for one thing: this season he's going as a student, and he had said he was a visiting professor. This episode may explain this inconsistency, that Sheldon was lying to cover up the events portrayed in this episode as being embarrassing to him.
- GoofsAs Sheldon points out he was not interested in sightseeing. Thus he places Schwetzingen Palace in Heidelberg (10 miles away), and the pictures of Heidelberg castle get mixed up with Cochem castle (more than 110 miles away).
- Quotes
Sheldon Cooper: Well, I would have gone to a better school, but I was 11, which you have to admit, is pretty impressive.
Professor Salzman: Sheldon, at some point we ask of the piano-playing dog not 'Are you a dog?', but 'Are you any good at playing the piano?'
Sheldon Cooper: ... excuse me?

I'm out.
Deeply disappointed! This new season feels very influenced by the new social movements.
Even the actors feel like they don't have their hearts in this anymore. It all feels fake and manipulated. I don't normally leave reviews, but this just rubbed me the wrong way. It's one thing to have an opinion and to communicate it; it's another thing to shove it down people's throats. I gave up five minutes before this episode ended, and I can firmly say I'm not coming back to this show. Art should be art, not a political and social message. Do better! You had something good here, but it doesn't feel like that anymore. I'm out.
