During the production of the film, the Ofer Brothers Group filed a lawsuit against the creators of the film and no Israeli TV channel would broadcast it. Eventually, it has been broadcast on Channel 1, a year after its original release.
The name of the film derives from lawyer Ram Kaspi, that they made a "shakshuka" of the financial offers to the state.
