I enjoyed this journey through Austria: beautiful landscapes and nice encounters.
There are some interesting aspects of Austria: the carnivals in the mountain villages (the carnival of Telfs, the transition from the winter to the summer), the celebrations after skiing (drinking and dancing), the Austrian cuisine (the "Wienerschnitzel coming from Milan., the goulash coming from Hungary, the farmer Jakob Prantl preparing the sauerkraut and cooking in a mountain refuge, the Adamah farm and the organic products, Manfred Hofer and Pfeiffer cooking with medicinal herbs. Alexander the pharmacist and the medicinal herbs, Andrea Stigger and beer spa in a former brewery), the youth of Vienna (Martin Haslacher, member of the band Sundust, Caroline Heider, the photographer, Katharina Wagner, the young journalist, the music students), the Café Central the pastry chef Pierre Reboul, Kay Froehlich, the manager telling the story of the Café Central, the 800 cafes of Vienna) and the 300 balls of Vienna (the Elmayer dance school, the tradition of the first ball, the Ball of the Hunters and the traditional costumes-dirndl for the women -, the dance in the Hofburg).
I enjoyed the encounters of Sophie with Ralph (the paragliding moment) , with Edith Gril (the carnival at Bad Goisem), with Clemens Aschauer (the forest and the walk through Hallstatt), with Verena Lobisser and his father Arnold Lobisser (the guesthouse, the workshop), with Adeline Hulin in Vienna (the travel by tramway, the Spanish Riding School of Vinne-Andreas Hausberger, the main squire-the "haschmarkt with the tasting of sauerkraut and vinegar, the Café Central-the meeting with the pastry chef Pierre Reboul-, the viennese coffee and the pastries, the ice rink and the Eisstockschiessen, Erwin Perzy III and the museum of the snow globe, the shop of Julien Flossmann and the ball gowns) and with Florian Felber (the masket ball ijn the Opera house); very nice encounters with very kind Austrian men and women.
