This film was shot all in one very long day, starting at 7:00 a.m. and finally wrapping at 2:00 a.m. hence a 19 hour shoot. It had to be done in that manner because this project was shot inside a real funeral home and an actual morgue. That being said, the "bed" that actor Marc I. Daniels was lying on was actually a real gurney. Since gurneys are meant to hold deceased people, comfort is not a priority. Mr. Daniels confirmed that this was indeed a physically uncomfortable day. The sex scene was also quite challenging under the aforementioned circumstances.
Director Anthony J. Puglia and Actor/Coordinating Producer/Script Advisor Marc I. Daniels are friends in real life and have worked together on four films total, the most recent being "Waterless", an award-winning film written and directed by Marc I. Daniels.
The sex scene specifically was shot on a guarded closed set. Even the Director and Producer were not in the room, though they were watching on the monitor one room away. Outside of their room was a closed door and a guard. The only people present inside the room where the scene was shot were the two actors (Marc I. Daniels and Courtney Case), the Sound man and the Cinematographer on the Red camera.
