One Man's Anger, One Woman's Love resonates true for many who have experienced domestic abuse and informs viewers of the dynamic, the imbalance of power in abusive relationships. there is no physical violence in this film. there is verbal and psychological abuse and bullying. how do we choose our relationships? how does family interaction and dynamic of disrespect and derision affect young children, their outlook and development? how do our children develop empathy, kindness and emotional security? what does gender equality (and in this case the lack of it) look like day to day? One Man's Anger, One Woman's Love is a thoughtful, cautionary tale. despite the serious subject matter it ends on a hopeful note.
