James Navey is a thru-hiker of the Appalachian Trail. The trail spans from Springer Mountain, Georgia to Mount Katahdin, Maine, passing through 14 states for a total of 2,190+ miles. It covers long public footpath that traverses the scenic, wooded, pastoral, wild, and culturally resonant lands of the Appalachian Mountains. The Trail was conceived in 1921, built by private citizens, and completed in 1937. James shares some of his humorous, heartwarming, and wild adventures on the trail, things he learned, ate, viewed, and experienced.

She is a performer, teacher and arranger. she performs her own mixture of Scottish tunes, J.S. Bach, and anything that sounds medieval or French. In 2018 she won the title of US National Scottish Harp Champion, playing "The Duke of Fife's Welcome to Deeside," "Brose and Butter," and "Ca' the Yowes to the Knowes" among other tunes.
