Very good spinoff
ericstevenson23 January 2018
Given the massive amount of videos Game Grumps created, it seems only fitting that a spinoff would be made. Well, this is still made on the same GameGrumps account. Kind of a misnomer in this case. Anyway, this is more of guys playing video games. I admit that it doesn't really seem that different than Game Grumps. It's hard to put it on the same level.

This is still great to watch and listen to, as it has most of what you'd want. I guess the only difference is that it's people playing games that they bought on Steam Train. I admit it does seem kind of pointless to make it a separate series, but it's still great. I guess the conversations aren't as funny. With these funny people, it's hard to make a series that's bad. Egoraptor still occasionally appears. ***1/2

Given A Chance, It Turned Into Something Special

Steam Train is the first spin-off series from the very popular and successful Game Grumps. Steam Train does a series of LP's for PC games, mainly on Valve's Steam.

Back in June when Jon Jafari (one half of the original Game Grumps) left the show, this spin-off was made. Unfortunately, Steam Train started off extremely bad, with a lot of abuse thrown towards Dan and Ross. Even I wasn't impressed and was upset that Jon left Game Grumps without any warning.

But I gave them a chance, and now they are just as funny as Game Grumps (who are now Arin and Dan). I always enjoy the opening intro, and of course their banter during the 10-15 minute videos. Ross can be an idiot though, but he is still great.

Definitely recommend these guys to everyone who are fans of very random humour and great PC games.

8/10!
