Three minutes of nostalgia saved the finale.
This season was better than the last, which was quite disappointing. I expected a lot from the finale episode, but it was pretty average and not very humorous. The episode was just about twenty minutes long, with the last few minutes being old memories of the show. It was shocking to see how much weight Bob has lost. Among Chuck Lorre's comedy shows, my favorite finales are, in order: Two and a Half Men, The Big Bang Theory, Mom, and then Bob Hearts Abishola. If the fourth season had been as good as this one, CBS might have given it a few more seasons. Overall, the finale episode is okay. I liked that Abishola came with her original off-screen haircut, Christina's daughter, Tunde's Mario mustache, the bench, etc. But, I didn't like that the episode was quite short, Goodwin's statement to Bob in the end, and Kemi and Chuck's food thing didn't fit well. I'd rate it 2.5/5.

Utterly ridiculous waste of time

Warning: Spoilers
What a waste of time. The previous episode would have been a better series finale than this. I understand they wanted the characters to all have happy endings having achieved their dreams but this was all utter nonsense and felt more like a fever dream.

So Abishola attended several years of medical school, did an internship, residency & pediatric fellowship and became a pediatrician in 7 yrs?

Christine & Dottie are more annoying than ever with the addition of a child and amplification or exacerbation of every neuroses or personality defect.

I truly regret the time I wasted watching this episode. I expected comedy of the same caliber shown throughout the series not this mess.
