Östgötagatan from south to north and Gotlandsgatan from west to east. Two back streets, behind the wide glittering lanes. Klas Östergren is sitting here. A melody sounds. What melody is that?

Peter Cornell places the bicycle against the house wall, enters a bar on Sveavägen near the corner of Olof Palmes gata. In the 1950s, he cycled past here on his way to Norra Latin's boys' educational institution.
