The wedding scene for Never Too Old took place at a historic Hollywood hills home. The elegant two story bungalow was originally owned in 1922 by a famous stage and silent movie actor Vasey O'Davoren. The new owners are proud to be renovating the property back to its glory days. The elegant staircase and beautiful chandeliers were the perfect wedding location features.
The opening scene of this short film is set in the future on the date June 26, 2045. That is 30 years after the Supreme Court decision legalizing gay marriage in all 50 states (Obergefell v. Hodges). That occurred on June 26, 2015.
It took 4 hours each morning for Rolando Zee to get into special effects makeup for the 85 yr old character Jesse.
