Pretty good
Hard to rate. Either 7 or 8. The story is not really finished yet. The trial is ongoing as he pled not guilty. In such a case where there is a ton of evidence pleading not guilty is inviting a giant punishment. Judges don't like such arrogance in people who refuse to apologize for crimes they clearly committed. This happened to Jussie Smollett. His case of lying to the cops was a small one that in 9 out of 10 cases would only end in a fine for all the police work they had to do. Instead he went to jail because the former prosecutor messaged his team and told him to stick to the story as she would then sort everything out. She dropped the charges, but it was soon found out it was illegal for her to do that and a new prosecution started which then lead to an angry judge.
We do follow the case from the start on Discord to discovery. We get a few interviews and some points for older people about what Discord is and what chat even is online. Very banal stuff. The criminal himself and his family are not interviewed. But after the trial I think they will be and those events would improve any documentary. This is sorta a short intro only with too many faces hidden and too few interviews. But it's a perfect overview for newcomers. I do hope he will get a prison sentence long enough for him to learn from so that he won't repeat this. For his own sake.
