A boring approach to 'Older/Younger' Sapphic sex
lor_18 December 2023
This new potential series from Girlfriends Films isn't promising, as its limited premise is represented here in four virtually identical vignettes. They all have the same starting point, quickly segue into the same sexual positions of lesbian lovemaking, and each one ends with the two ladies closing their eyes and heading for slumberland in each other's arms.

The underlying theme is one that resonates with Girlfriends Films' fans since the label was created over 20 years ago: Older/Younger lesbian couples and seduction. Here, there is a popular, veteran actress in each vignette, including superstars like Dee Williams and Reagan Foxx, coupled with brand-new young talent. Most of the scene intone that the youngter's mom is alarmed at the age-difference relationships, and peer pressure plus anti-lesbian harassment is mentioned. But in a matter of perhaps a couple of minutes, all issus are settled with a kiss or embrace, the ostensible story content rendered meaningless.

Serene Siren is tutoring young student Athena Heart, and agrees to go out on a date with the kid if she aces her exams. Dee is getting over a divorce (heterosexual marriage) and falls for her fellow blonde personal trainer Sage Rabbit (an unfortunate choice of stage name). Eva Long is the school's basketball coach and falls in love with her tall (of course) star player Ellie Murphy.

Director B. Skow doesn't make any of this interesting, and departs from the successful Girlfriends series which are actually about something, say lawyers, realtors or cheerleaders. And the utter sameness of the content (only the faces and bodies change) is boring.
