A good conclusion.

The death count in Wychwood continues to rise, Luke is convinced he knows who the killer is, and he does his best to uncover the evidence.

It's a very decent conclusion, I'd forgotten just how bloodthirsty a story this actually is, there are a lot of deaths, would this perhaps have worked a little better as a three part story? At times I thought the pacing was a little rushed.

Very satisfying, definitely a few changes, but the core of the story was very much there, the ending of this was very well played out, and for anyone that doesn't know the story, something of a surprise.

A few things omitted from the book, the antique dealer, some of the witchcraft, and that's a shame, but it's very close otherwise, more so than any other adaptation.

The fact that a number of people rated this after only about fifteen minutes is pretty telling, so my suggestion is to just ignore whatever nonsensical score this ends up with, with people low scoring it, without even watching it, proves it's meaningless.

Very well acted all round, Tom Riley really did stand out here, talk about a bumbling oaf.

I did chuckle at the two waitresses, all I could see was Cissie and Ada, check out the restaurant sketch, they were the image of.

7/10.

Episode 2

Well Murder is Easy finally got going. From the last third of the episode onwards.

If there were likely suspects at the beginning of the second episode. They kind of dropped dead as it went on.

There was even a moment when Scotland Yard arrive. That Luke becomes a suspect. Even though he tells the police that he was not in the country when the first few deaths occurred. Still the police want him under house arrest until Major Horton intervenes.

An obvious suspect is conjured up as the story goes on but it is a massive red herring. Luke finally works out the culprit and it is a race against time.

Despite some changes, the core story remained faithful to Agatha Christie's novel. It was just a cheap looking, dull dragged out adaptation.
