Beforehand, I won't write anything story related to this episode.

After the very decent start of this season we are getting our usual *The Mentlalist* qualities. The acting is good enough to deliver and we see Jane and his group solving several cases. As usual it is interesting to watch, with the well known portion of comedy and wit.

We are finally getting closer to Red John, which on my opinion, has already been stretched far enough. I am really looking forward to the solution and I am very interested in how the further story is able to develop.

Worth watching !

Warning: Spoilers
A drunk man leaves a restaurant and drives his car. Soon he is pulled over by a police officer, but flees and, out of the blue, his car explodes. Meanwhile, Patrick Jane wipes the blood with Red John's mark off Lisbon's face while Bertram comes to the crime scene and finds Brett Partridge dead and Lisbon unconscious. When Lisbon wakes up in the hospital, she tells Patrick that the last words of Partridge were "Tyger, Tyger" and she believes Red John is a psychic, since he is always one step ahead of them. Patrick Jane unsuccessfully calls his former psychiatrist Sophie Miller. Meanwhile Cho and Rigsby review the footage in the officer's camera while Van Pelt identifies the victim Titus Stone, and they conclude that a drone caused the explosion. Further, he worked in a company that manufactures drones for the Pentagon.

"Black-Winged Redbird" is a great episode of "The Mentalist" with many storylines entwined with the lead one of the drone designer. There are promising leads to find the identity of the notorious serial-killer Red John. My vote is eight.
