Days after her disappearance, Denise reappears some miles away, she recounts a tragic and terrifying story, but as with her partner, he story is not believed by The Police, who assume she's done a Rosamund Pike from Gone Girl.
Absolutely baffling, this documentary is so fascinating, it's honestly one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen.
I have to be honest, I had flashes of something at the end of episode one, and it's exactly that, Gone Girl, a film that gives us flashes of way too many things as it is.
What's most shocking, once again, is that The Police are treating everyone as hostile it seems, these stories are so elaborate, so far of left field, that they don't even seem to consider the notion that both parties may just be telling the truth.
My heart really went out to Denise here, what she must have gone through, only to be deemed a liar, it's shocking.
Shocking.
8/10.
