Lee Morse abandoned her family for Show Biz and soon was a starring act on the West Coast Vaudeville circuit. From there it was a short step to trying out for the movies, but despite three shorts, she went back to live performance. Well, the movies never used a lot of real talent and misused a lot of what they did have.
This short for Paramount shows a lot of musical talent. The story attached to the movie is that Miss Morse's boyfriend has walked out and she doesn't want to be seen in public; her agent, just in with copies of her new records, points out that through them, she's in a million places throughout the nation. We then see three different performances in three locations. They're all pretty good, but the best is the second in a yodeling blues style. Worth a look.
