Watch your stuff when your ex moves out Warning: Spoilers
So you can avoid lots of future drama. This is a 17-minute short film written by, directed by and starring Joseph Ahern. He has worked on "Raising Hope" in the past as well. The story is fairly simple. A guy is left by his girlfriend and he realizes that one of his paintings is missing, so he suspects his ex-girlfriend to have taken it to her new house. Things went pretty quick as she has a new boyfriend already and he seems to be a fairly dangerous guy. Yet the guy gets his best friend to help him in getting the painting back. So the two find out when the girl is at work and visit the house, in which only her new boyfriend is at home... Things become a bit chaotic then, but watch for yourselves.

I enjoyed this short movies mostly for Joseph Russo's performance and good for him he got to work with Clint Eastwood recently. His character here really elevates the entire movie and it would have been pretty boring without him. Also, I am not entirely sure why Ahern wrote a character for himself as his buddy character does not really add anything to the movie (other than calling his pal's ex). But he does not hurt the film either, so it's a minor criticism. All in all, recommended.
