Gennie's funeral part 2. Lucy Pargeter's amazing acting!
Quite a start: it's continuation of Gennie's funeral - not just a tragic heartbreaking day for Nikhil and Brenda, but more worse one for Chas: not only her half-sister is dead and attending her funeral, but her lover is next to her and she just found out Cameron is seeing Debbie behind her back - threatening Cameron he's gonna get hurt. Gennie's music video is an emotional part. Chas giving the eulogy before walking out - residents accusing her making it seem about herself.
Cameron is there at his murder victims funeral in vulnerable situation with Chas' wrath and Debbie glaring at him every few minutes.
This is one Emmerdale episode where actress Lucy Pargeter delivers one her best acting performances, even when she walks into the pub at the wake, takes Betty's drink to the backroom, gulps it down in one and then lashes out tossing and smashing the glass against the wall, shocking Diane, and Cain enters like he's seen and been following her.
Cain now also worked out what happened between Cameron and his daughter, even when Chas confesses, highlight moment when he punches Cameron in the pub.
Cameron said "Cain Dingle everyone: king of the empty threat"?
I haven't seen this moment Chas mentioned about arguing with Chas tells them that Gennie warned her of them having an affair but she didn't believe her and spent the last few days of her life hating her. I feel sympathy for Chas at this scene, yet again Lucy Pargeter continues giving an amazing performance!!
And later Chas catches them embracing, her quote: "Oh look, it's like Romeo & Juliet, but with more slags." LOL!
Now Cain, Charity, Zak, etc don't know what Debbie is thinking, about to come up with some conspiracy.
Seeing Nikhil's ma Georgia again, his son breaking down in tears, yet it's still June Ackland (The Bill) who she is.
Any other storylines with Nicola etc I'm not interested.
