What is this???
yvwzmhr23 February 2024
I'm not surprised at the storyline, honestly most of these series adopt the same storyline if not more dramatic. I spent time fast forwarding through both episodes (1 and 2) cause I couldn't bring myself to actually sit for a whole 1 hour and a half cringing at the acting. I mean come on now, what on earth????!!!!! To top it off the long silent stares between characters, and glancing into the distance for what feels like 5 mins.

I can't watch this , spending almost 3 hours watching a series that's really not doing justice for that cast. The scriptwriters could do better than this series... bored.

Avoid! Stressful and ridiculous plot
mosquitocyn18 February 2024
Watched 1 hour of episode 1 and am disgusted over the acting, plot and situation. Where do scriptwriters come up with such plots with utter disrespect for values. The mother of a wealthy family manipulates the entire family with the sole purpose that the male lead who is his son produces a male heir. He is made to divorce his wife because of failure of birth of a child from their marriage, finds a poor girl and gets her married to his son with the promise to his ex wife that once a son is born by the new wife, the new wife will be divorced and the ex wife gets reunited with the male lead. The entire tone of the the 1 hour is haughty, stressful and cruel - so, you know what to expect of this series. Switch it off and avoid this!

I want this series to work but it doesn't at this stage.

I wish I could write just one sentence.... I forwarded three quarters of each episode and still didn't miss anything. There is too much fluff that doesn't need to be there. And everything borders on the ridiculous.

I would've liked to ML & FL in a series with a bit more meat. They both have potential. I don't think the script gives them any opportunities. The ML can be soulful. The FL, in this series is too slow. The way she brushes her hair or cuts cheese or doesn't respond (her sister in-law has to tell her what to do all the time). It's like her brain doesn't work. It's too much. Did you hire her just for her beauty? Please give her a personality.

If only the storyline can be a little more interesting and the Directing be better...with not such long pauses and a better, more natural flow to it, it has potential.

Physical and mental Abuse against woman, against wife, again...
thinkthanktonk7 April 2024
The Turli series, I really like the actors, both juniors and seniors, almost all of them have good acting skills. In terms of production, it is also parallel to Western Serial production. But what is very worrying about the Turkish series is that in terms of story content, it is still very outdated. There are still many Turkish series that explore physical and mental abuse and violence against women, against wives, against daughters. As if to show that men are more valuable, smarter, more powerful than women. These are medieval themes that should have lost their relevance. Maybe the regeneration of authors in the Turkish film industry is absolutely necessary, old authors with old ideas must be replaced with young authors who are more creative and fresh.

No excitement just cruelty

Warning: Spoilers
Time to stop watching sadly .

Each episode is so slow it is torture.

No movement same story over and over How could Chihan be married to beyza for 7 years to such an evil woman?

How could he not know her character?

What does it say about him?

He did not want the divorce.

If he was satisfied with beyaz all those years. What kind of man is he ?

Just tried to watch episode 15 I fast forwarded but it doesn't help .

Once he started to make any appointment for in vitro I switched it off.

If you need stress and anxiety keep watching .

But I am done now .

Couldn't they show some positive ?

So disappointed in him

where is his character?did he love Beyaz?

Hancer seems so .innocent.

However she did sell her body .

She does even like him. How could she let him touch her How horrible ?

Where is her self esteem?

How could she accept being a surrogate.

No self esteem or self worth.

Not seeing any chemistry.

Saw in real life there is a that are in a relationship..

Slow and Painful to watch. Endless stares and flashback
cjpatra7 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
The writers were lazy. I feel sorry for the actors, they didn't have much to work with. Very slow, very frustrating, half the series is looong cringey stares and flashbacks.... Overdone story line but the writers could have tried harder. FL was obviously chosen for looking like Ozge Yagiz, she's the eternal victim with zero personality. Male lead is the typically CEO macho man who despite running a company has no emotional awareness and easily manipulated by everyone around him, standard cruel controlling mother in law, obsessed mentally unstable relative/ ex wife.... You need patience to get through this one. The story line is similar to Adini Sen Koy which was 100 times better because the female lead had a personality. Also watching Kizil Goncalar, much better series, I'm hooked. I watch this as I wait for more episodes. Female characters who have inner strength and a little fire are much more interesting, not just playing victim and endless tears.

Edit: Now at episode 15, increased my rating by a point because the FL got some fire and told off the ML.
