Arthur is devastated and struggling with Katya's death, his lovely Polish Princess. Arthur withdraws I to himself, and even stops going to The Cafe, Michael tries to intercede to life Arthur's spirits, other spirits arise.
Another magical, brilliant, marvellous madcap episode, it's the perfect end to the first series.
The funeral was definitely a bit different, but that's the only way to look at death, to have a respectful chuckle.
This really does show a different side to the show, Arthur isn't just the fool, he's actually got real depth, he's mourning his friend, and trying his best, he's actually a sweet guy.
Maybe back in episode we weren't quite ready for Memory man, after all of series one's antics, it's a joy to see Memory Man back, The Seance is an absolute joy fest, I can't decide if those laughs were acting, or genuine chuckles.
The haunted blackboard, there are no words for how funny that was.
10/10.
