finally a good one

The best episodes are the one featuring Atwater and Torres as the main characters.

Voight has nothing going on for ages since the writers had to tone it down to police brutality was on the news.. now voight is a completely empty shell with no arcs.

Upton is finally going on to leave the show.. after jay left, she is just walking around with that constipated face..

adam and burgees are always the same.. him trying to please and cater to her and her luke warm towards him.. finally they are going to tie the knot.

Robbery at a jewelry store and stupid dude punches in the eletrcic door so his wife can leave.. customer that knows how to operate a door to a store he just came in.. nice huhnn.

Anyway, a good episode.. let us see the next one with torres banging the old lady.

I know Kevin is popular on this site but he just does not come across as a good cop. He makes some silly and rash decisions. He just does not have the cop "swag". He is a great guy though and his heart is in the right place. When does he get a love interest???

I see many people disliked Teresa but I didnt find her all that annoying. She just lost her husband and the man who probably shot him was laying on the floor in her house. I doubt I would want to help him myself. As far as not talking many people dont like talking to the police especially if she sort of blames Kev for not getting to her husband fast enough.

Then again I could have missed something because I didnt really understand the last scene when he went back to the crime scene. What did Kev discover? Other than finding the key....

Another Kevin Story!

Probably next to Trudy Platt as my favorite character, my second is Kevin. And that really you have to feel very sorry for him. While in the trying to figure out as a jewelry robbery that has gone wrong and a civilian getting killed.

Kevin really is conflicted and confused over on his job. That he wants to prevent anymore carnage. But then again, he can't see over in the bigger picture which is easier said than done.

He feels like it is on him but thankfully he has Hank and the others around him backing him up. Not just makes him out to be a great cop but a better human being. You just move on and learn not to make the same mistake twice.

Teresa was infuriating!

Why do I feel like she and her husband were being selfish with whatever they (he) did to tamper with the door system? It looked like they wanted to escape, and then make it difficult for any other person to leave the shop. I don't know... I may be wrong. I have gone to read recaps, and no one seems to explain what really happened.

You will think that after so many years on the job, these cops will be able to let go of some things that happen on the job, and move on, especially about stubborn civilians like Teresa and Corey who refused to obey instructions, that eventually lead to a tragedy. Well, also good to know that their conscience and humanity is still very much present.

Overall, it was a good episode.

Horrible Acting

Whoever casted the lady Teresa must have been doing someone a favor. Her acting is one of a bad Tubi show or even schooling bought from Temu. The show itself, pretty good. The struggle of right and wrong within the cop was well acted. Chicago PD needs that old school zero Fs to give back on the scene. Without the main dude being more active, the show isn't as good. Hopefully they find an edgier character like Hank Voight who can carry the show on their back. If anything, make these back secondary characters seem less cringey to watch. But to go back to this D class acting.... Well, at least she tried.

Just awful Tv this season

All the Chicago's have been disappointing, PD has really just been a letdown because of all the changes people leaving, not picking up on the right storylines, again this episode was dedicated to Kevin, where he feels like he's not saving the world he's not doing his job, time and time again in each season they highlight him and he's the worse character on the show, they have left so many questions unanswered situations with certain characters not played out, it's not that they are running out of storylines it's that they are choosing not to pick up where they left off, have to wait until the 3rd week in March to see where PD goes next.
