Jim Ross speculated on his podcast this week that Snoop Dogg could be this year’s celebrity inductee into the WWE Hall Of Fame.
The former WWE commentator said he had heard it through the grapevine, but didn’t know for sure if the rumour was true.
The story has also been picked up by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. “It hasn’t been announced yet and obviously this would be late stuff if it happens since it wasn’t in the magazine, the WWE was looking at putting together deals to get Snoop Dogg into the WWE Hall of Fame.”
Dogg is a long time fan and friend of the company. He hosted Raw back in 2009, and has made other cameo appearances. He’s also the cousin of Sasha Banks.

The night before WrestleMania XXX, at the 2014 WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony, the Ultimate Warrior voiced his desire for a future award that would recognize the hard-working, unsung heroes of WWE whose efforts made a lasting impression on those around them, suggesting it should be named the ‘Jimmy Miranda Award’ in memory of the late WWE merchandise guru.
Two days later, Warrior suddenly passed away and the very next year, WWE created the Warrior Award.
The wording that WWE used to describe their intended use of the Warrior Award makes the identity of future inductees unclear. The company’s explanation for the award is that it is meant to honor “individuals that live with courage and compassion that embodies the indomitable spirit of the Ultimate Warrior”. Whereas that is not exactly the same thing that Warrior had proposed in 2014, it very easily could be used in that manner...

This past week, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson revealed on his Instagram account that he will be appearing live at WrestleMania 32 at At&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. This has started rumours on whether Rock will be wrestling at the show, or if it’ll just be a guest appearance. Fans are desperate to know in what capacity they’ll be seeing The Great One on April 3rd, 2016.
What we do know so far is that Rock is filming a movie around that time, so he likely won’t be appearing on a lot of TV leading up to the big show. Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer also reported several months ago that the studio for his next movie has an insurance policy that would prohibit Rock from having a wrestling match that could impact his shooting schedule.

Scott Hall’s life has been an unbelievably rocky road. For all the success that the man has had in the pro wrestling industry, rollercoaster ups and downs have permeated much of his adult life away from the ring. A number of incidents have led to trouble with the law, but Hall has managed to give his life more focus during the past few years.
Largely thanks to the help of Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts and Diamond Dallas Page, Hall has become more healthy. Embracing yoga and a healthier lifestyle even enabled the man to get inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2014. Thankfully, Scott Hall is doing well, but the way he lived his life beforehand was very dangerous.
In this article, the man opens up with one revelation about life on the road as ‘Razor Ramon’ in the WWF. That kind of candid story is...

The Undertaker retiring at WWE WrestleMania 32 has been an open secret for some time now. Industry insiders have been tipping the April 3rd event to be his last ever match, based upon the fact it being in Texas and it most likely setting WWE’s record attendance.
What better way to go out, right? Undertaker would be in his home state, surrounded by 100,000 adoring WWE fans.
There was also the hot rumour that he’d go into the WWE Hall Of Fame on the night before, giving him a truly epic send off over an Undertaker themed weekend.
It made sense, he will after all be fifty-one at the time of next year’s Mania. That’s old for a pro wrestler, especially one so physically worn. He’s been described as “chronically injured” in recent years, only barely passing the WWE physical test for WrestleMania 29.

Nowadays, Trish Stratus is considered one of the greatest Divas in WWE history. A 7-time Women’s Champion in the promotion, Stratus evolved from an out-of-her-element fitness model into one of the best female in-ring workers under contract. In just a few short years, Trish learned the ropes, and was deservedly inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2013.
By the time the woman had departed her full-time WWE schedule in 2006, there wasn’t much she hadn’t accomplished in the company. From acting as a valet for mid-level tag-teams such as Test & Albert, to becoming a fully-fledged leader of the Diva division, Trish has done it all. She’s even locked lips with a number of WWE performers, and that’s where this list comes in.

WWE are advertising The Undertaker for three shows in Mexico this October. It has raised speculation in the internet wrestling community that what fans are currently witnessing is an Undertaker retirement farewell tour, which will culminate in his final match at WrestleMania 32.
It is certainly a plausible theory. It is unusual for The Undertaker to be working over the summer in WWE, now fans find out he’ll be working in the autumn as well. The three shows are 10/16 in Merida, 10/17 at Arena Ciudad in Mexico City and 10/18 at Arena Monterrey. Even in his prime, he hardly ever worked house shows, so this move really is surprising.
There’s got to be a decent chance he’ll also be on WWE television around those October bookings, possibly heading towards a match at Survivor Series. There’s also got to be a chance he’ll head over to the...

Scott Steiner was banned from attending the WWE Hall Of Fame 2015 due to an incident with Hulk Hogan’s wife. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that an “ugly incident” occurred between Steiner and Hogan’s wife Jennifer. This was on an airplane and it turned into a huge issue.
WWE decided to take action by banning Steiner from WrestleMania festivities. A photo (which you can see above) was placed at security entrances and event teams were put on alert that should Steiner show up he was not to be allowed in at any WWE events.
The company wanted to avoid any embarrassing scenes. Steiner has a history of temper tantrums, particularly from his WCW days. His heat with Jennifer is unknown, but he infamously had big problems with Kimberly Page in WCW. He has been described as a bully and has proved to have a vicious tongue in shoot statements about the business.

Stone Cold Steve Austin outright asked Triple H if he thinks Chyna should be in the WWE Hall Of Fame. Triple H replied “Does she deserve to go into the Hall Of Fame? Absolutely.”
“It’s not just as easy as should this person go in the Hall Of Fame. She’s a paradigm shifter, changed the business, did what no other woman had ever done before. All the other stuff that happened, happened, and I don’t need to get into any of the other stuff,” Triple H continued, “there’s no beef on this side.”

Ever since Triple H married Stephanie McMahon in October, 2003, thus marrying into the McMahon family, fingers have been pointed at ‘The Game’ for strategically securing his spot in WWE for years to come. Legends as respected as WWE Hall Of Fame announcer Jim Ross have remarked that the idea Triple H wouldn’t be a top star if he didn’t marry the boss’s daughter is “complete nonsense”.
Regardless of such words, many fans still bring the topic up every now and then. Personal opinion on the reasons for the couple’s relationship is one thing, but few can deny the impact such a union has had on WWE. It seems that Triple H & Stephanie are now poised to fully take over the reigns of the wrestling juggernaut once Stephanie’s father, Vince McMahon steps down, retires or passes on.

The Undertaker is a sure fire entrant into the WWE Hall Of Fame whenever he decides to hang up his boots. One of the most enduring characters in wrestling history, the guy has re-invented himself on numerous occasions, keeping the character relevant and ensuring he’s serving whatever the company needs at the time.
It may seem like an obvious statement, but we’ll likely never see another Undertaker come down the line, and wrestling fans will definitely never be taken on another Wrestlemania Streak journey quite like the one we’ve seen with ‘The Deadman’. Up until last year, when Brock Lesnar broke it, the much-vaunted Streak was one of the most impressive stories in wrestling, and even though it’s now over, it’s still incredible.

Getting into the WWE Hall Of Fame is a highlight of many WWE superstar’s careers. It signals to the world that your contribution was significant enough be recognised amongst the sports entertainment elite (and Mr. T and Drew Carey).
The night that they are inducted into the Hall Of Fame, it must all seem worth it. All of the injuries, the time on the road, the ribs, the politics, the broken promises, the false starts, the time lost. When you get your hall of fame ring and you’re up there on that stage in front of the world giving your speech, it must feel like all of the crap you went through never really happened at all.
But it did happen. Not only did it happen, but WWE often went out of their way to make it happen. Anyone has been following WWE for any length...

Now that “Macho Man” Randy Savage is finally going into the WWE Hall Of Fame, his name can be removed from the list of biggest Hall snubs. He was the unquestioned top name on that list for years, but that wrong is about to be righted, thankfully. With that said, it’s now time to look at the other big names on that list. Yes, there is plenty of time remaining for any of these people to be inducted, even as soon as this year, but as it stands, they aren’t Hall Of Fame bound just yet.
The one main “catch” here is that currently active or very recently retired names won’t be listed. They can’t truly be “snubs” if they’re still wrestling, or if they stopped only months ago. It isn’t really fair to those that are completely retired that spots keep...

Love him or hate him, there’s no denying Big Daddy Cool has had a remarkable career. Kevin Nash’s name is synonymous with controversy, even as recently as last month when his name made headlines in mainstream media for an arrest related to a family dispute. Over the course of his career, Big Sexy has been called many unflattering names for various reasons by small-minded wrestling fans and bitter wrestlers alike.
But one name he should be called is “Hall of Famer.”
The former WWE Champion and five-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion may have his detractors, but there is no question that he belongs in the WWE Hall of Fame beside many of the legends who have already been immortalised with the honor. The combination of being an intelligent and charismatic individual has allowed Nash to forge a prominent place in the wrestling business that has endured for over twenty years.

Within the confines of modern pro wrestling, it’s insanely difficult to be a heel. Let’s define that statement, because receiving boos from the audience can be incredibly easy to achieve, but we’re talking genuine, nuclear levels of actual hatred. In 2014, there aren’t many wrestlers who know how to do this, but it’s not really their fault – the wrestling business has changed, evolving into a beast with blurred lines wherever you look.
Former head writer for WWE, WCW and Tna, Vince Russo once said that he detested the fact most wrestling fans think in clear parameters of ‘good guys’ and ‘bad guys’. There are only shades of grey, Russo argued, and was intent on pressing that upon everyone who would listen.
That all sounds great in theory, but another huge name in the world of wrestling, WWE Hall Of Fame inductee Jim Ross, remarked...

The WWE DVD release of ‘Macho Man – The Randy Savage Story’ is going to be notable for several reasons. It has been suggested that it’s a precursor to Savage Finally going into the WWE Hall Of Fame. It is also WWE’s first documentary style look at just what exactly did go wrong between Macho and Vince in the mid nineties.
The DVD and Blu Ray will be available from Mid November and comprises a full documentary and various classic matches over a three disc set. Given the revelations in the documentary, and the rare matches being unavailable on WWE Network, this is one purchase that wrestling fans aren’t going to want to miss.
Having watched an advance copy, we’ve learned several things. The impressive documentary does not disappoint. The production is almost as good as WWE’s recent Paul Heyman DVD release. There’s plenty...

When I first began watching professional wrestling, some 22 years ago in 1992, the one wrestler who made me sit up and take notice was “Macho Man” Randy Savage. My first wrestling event I ever saw features Savage and Ric Flair wrestling for the WWF Championship in Indiana at WrestleMania 8. Randy Savage has been a favourite of mine ever since, a remarkable performer, he truly had the “it” that promoters in wrestling look for year after year. A top-class wrestler who, in many ways, was ahead of his time, Savage was also truly original on the microphone with his trademark growl-voice and catch-phrases like “Ooh Yeah”, “Dig it!” and “Snap into a Slim Jim!” The latter of which, as silly as it sounds, helped solidify Savage as a household name, someone that even non-fans of wrestling had heard of.
I was excited when I heard that WWE were releasing this set. The...

Undeniably one of the most intense, charismatic and skilled professional wrestlers to ever work a match, Randy Savage helped to define an era of professional wrestling.
The Macho Man wore the WWE Championship twice and the WCW Championship on no less than four occasions. He is one of the most recognisable names and one of the most imitated personalities in wrestling’s long and storied history. He was a consistent main event draw across three different decades. He was also the most recognisable star in wrestling after Hulk Hogan and he was always great for business. In short, Savage’s CV speaks for itself.
…So why isn’t The Macho Man in the WWE Hall of Fame?

The WWE Hall of Fame is a celebration of professional wrestling history. It’s an exclusive club that honors the best talents whether they are wrestlers, managers, valets, promoters, announcers or whatever role that person has played in making the wrestling business better. It’s also missing one big name: “Macho Man” Randy Savage.
It’s been about ten years since WWE started caring about the Hall of Fame. It actually started in 1993 with Andre The Giant inducted as the first and only member that year. For the next three years WWE inducted more people. Then it was completely ignored until WWE decided to bring it back in 2004 and it became a regular thing by that point.

WCW icon Sting has reiterated that he wants to wrestle The Undertaker at WrestleMania 31. Speaking to Mirror.co.uk as part of his promotional role in WWE 2K15, the wrestler indicated his desire to join the WWE family. He also put over the idea that he could go into the Hall Of Fame next year.
On working for WWE, Sting states “I didn’t want to hang it all up and retire and disappear again without having done that in some capacity.”
That seems to say that his talent contract is signed. The way he speaks suggests that he is as motivated by his legacy as much as his profit making potential in working for WWE. He wants to achieve the one thing he hasn’t done, wrestling under what he refers to as “the WWE family.”
The interview points toward Sting being the main star of the WWE Hall Of Fame 2015 induction ceremony.

Randy Savage is more likely than ever to go into the WWE Hall of Fame, according to the latest figure four weekly newsletter.
This is coming off the back of a new WWE DVD / Blu Ray project which will feature a full documentary on the Macho Man. Cooperating and being interviewed for the new Savage release is his brother Lanny Poffo. This increased featuring of Savage and the blessing of his family make a WWE 2015 Hall of Fame induction a strong possibility. The Newsletter report believes that the most likely line up for next year’s Hall of Fame class will be The Rock, Savage, Kevin Nash, Victoria or Mickie James and Rikishi.
In analysing the Savage move, it isn’t too surprising to see WWE edge closer to finally recognising his legend. Triple H is taking the reigns off of Vince McMahon a bit and pushing the importance of WWE history.

The WWE Hall of Fame means a lot of things to different groups of people. To WWE performers, it’s a huge honor to be recognized with their peers. To optimistic wrestling fans, it’s an opportunity to pay tribute to the men and women we respect so much for putting their bodies on the line to entertain us.
To another group of fans, it’s a flawed system because there are people in there that probably shouldn’t be (like Koko B Ware) while deserving huge names like Randy Savage are not in yet for one reason or another. Those arguments can be made for or against certain people forever. What we can all agree on is that the WWE Hall of Fame isn’t perfect, but it’s still a great way to honor deserving talents on the night prior to WrestleMania.

According to certain sources the WWE is currently working with Bill Goldberg in relation to its annual video game in WWE 2K15. Many have suggested that this move parallels the working relationship between The Ultimate Warrior and the WWE in 2013 that started with collaboration over the content of WWE 2K14, and eventually led to The Ultimate Warrior’s involvement with WrestleMania 30 and The WWE Hall Of Fame. If the rumours are to be believed and Goldberg is indeed communicating with the WWE, then it is not beyond reason to suggest that the WWE might be eager to attempt to book Goldberg in what would be a highly lucrative ‘return’ match at WrestleMania 31. After all unlike the late Ultimate Warrior, Goldberg is a main event draw who is still capable of working a quality wrestling match with just about any wrestling talent.

The sudden death of Ultimate Warrior at the age of 54 is truly a shocking tragedy. The iconic WWE superstar had only days earlier been inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame, he had finally mended bridges with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon and signed a WWE contract for an ambassador role. Fans had received Warrior back into the WWE family with choruses of cheers, we were looking forward to seeing him appear in WWE for years to come in occasional segments.
What a shame that such dreams are instantly stung with bitter reality. The WWE will now face the typical press moral panic about wrestler fatalities at a young age, in a week when WWE had an extraordinary successful WrestleMania and huge Raw rating, the only story now is Warrior’s death. It overshadows everything, the Undertaker’s first WrestleMania loss in 22 years is a superficial non-story compared to this.

The tragic death of Ultimate Warrior, aged 54, has provoked numerous tributes from within the wrestling industry. At this time there are no further details to add to our earlier report, however industry expert Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio has commented that ”everyones going to think enlarged hearts and that era. He had injuries but I didn’t know about any health problems.”
Meltzer doesn’t want to say anything else on the situation as we await further details.
Warrior’s career was filled with controversy, he was a mainstream star and WWF Champion, but backstage he faced criticism of ego and selfishness. Today it’s a different story, the wrestling industry tributes are telling the story of a caring family man and good friend. He really cared about his fans, terming them his ‘warriors’. She was not your typical Diva.
Lita was gorgeous and athletic, for sure, but she was also a tattooed bad girl whose punk-rock aesthetic perfectly captured the Attitude Era’s edgy allure.
Success did not come overnight for Amy Dumas. Before she became Lita, she travelled solo to Mexico City to learn the craft of wrestling from luchadors.
When fame (and infamy) came in WWE — thanks partly to risque storylines culled from messy real-life romances, and partly due to some outstanding matches — she was a show-stealer whose eventual Hall of Fame induction seemed assured.
With that induction now just around the corner, WhatCulture caught up with Lita for an exclusive chat about wrestling, her post-wwe life and, of all things, vegan cheese.
WhatCulture: Do you have a favorite match against Trish Stratus, looking back on your long rivalry?

Legendary wrestler Sting is rumored to be signing on with WWE to wrestle in one match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 31 in 2015.
Sting, 55, began wrestling professionally in 1985 and spent his career signed with Nwa, WCW and Tna Impact Wrestling. He was dropped when WWE accumulated WCW.
The rumor comes from notes by Dave Meltzer in the subscription required Wreslting Observer Newsletter that suggested WWE was working on bringing Sting in for the event.
“Regarding Sting, there is a working idea that he does one WWE match and then retires, which everyone presumes at this point will be with Undertaker at WresleMania 31 in Santa Clara. Whether this is made clear at Mania itself, at Raw the next day, or at some point closer to the show is unclear. Right now the only thing confirmed is the idea is Sting will do one last match [sic],” reads the note.

Previously on: The big advancement toward "Wrestlemania" was the masterful attack of Daniel Bryan by Triple H. It was truly one of the best moments of buildup for the big show we've seen yet. There wasn't a ton else to note last week. The Shield are babyfaces now, though. So it looks like their breakup is on the backburner. It's probably a good idea, that unit is just to good to separate.
The big news: After now appearing on "WWE Raw" last week, The Undertaker was in the house. It was the first time this year he brought out the old druid and coffin gimmick the character is known for. It all followed Heyman and Lesnar in the ring, talking about how Undertaker's days were numbered.
Unfortunately, Taker did exactly what he's already done: Beat down Lesnar. Everyone knows Brock is going to lose at "Wrestlemania," but WWE needs...

A tourist from Michigan stole an autographed Hulk Hogan wrestling shoe from his shop in Florida and returned it a few days later.
The woman, whose name has not yet been revealed, allegedly took the shoe on a whim while looking inside Hogan’s Beach Shop in Clearwater on Sunday, March 16. Employees of the shop didn’t notice the one-of-a-kind shoe – Hogan once wore the shoe and signed it – was missing until Tuesday evening, and the theft was announced to the press on Wednesday, March 19. The shoe is valued at $5,500.
Source: Clearwater Pd
In their original press release, the police said that security tapes showed four white women, possibly on Spring Break, had entered a shop at 5:16 p.m., minutes before a statue of Hogan fell outside the shop, distracting the store’s employees long enough for the suspect to grab the shoe. The woman was described as “a white female in her 50s,...

Mr. T will be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame, TMZ.com have announced.
It’s likely that WWE wanted to create some media attention by announcing the news through TMZ before it aired on TV tonight for tonight’s WWE Raw.
The rumors of the actor going into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the celebrity wing have been running rampant for months now. While Mr. T has reportedly been asked to go into the Hall of Fame before, he always refused the invitation. It’s fitting that he would accept it this year now that Hulk Hogan is back in WWE (and we are sure the added interest from WWE for this anniversary likely led to more money for T).

It was announced at Tuesday’s Smackdown tapings that Carlos Colon will be the next inductee in the WWE Hall of Fame. Colon is the father of former WWE Superstar Carlito, current WWE Superstar Diego (formerly Primo) and uncle of Fernando (formerly Epico). It’s expected that his two sons and his nephew will present him at the Hall of Fame ceremony. Will they be dressed as Los Matadores? Probably not.
Carlos Colon is a Puerto Rican wrestling legend that had a very successful in-ring career wrestling all over the world and as a promoter for World Wrestling Council in Puerto Rico. Even though he didn’t wrestle that many matches in WWE (he was in the 1993 Royal Rumble), he made an impact in the wrestling world through his work in Puerto Rico and it’s wonderful that WWE is choosing to acknowledge that at this year’s Hall of Fame ceremony.

Whenever somebody gets announced for the WWE Hall of Fame there’s always a question of who might induct that person by speaking for a few minutes about the inductee. There have been some recent obvious ones like Christian presenting Edge or Triple H presenting Shawn Michaels, but sometimes there are surprises.
Today on Twitter, the Ultimate Warrior informed us of who his presenter will be:
Fortunetelling pundits lack the integrity it takes to figure me out. I’m honored @Linda_McMahon accepts my request to introduce #wwehof2014.

Speculation is running rampant online that Scott Hall could be in line for a possible WWE Hall Of Fame induction this year.
There had been talks in recent weeks that Hall might be in line for a surprise induction this year but when the big three inductees were announced, it didn’t look likely there would be room for the former Razor Ramon in this class.
However a new rumour started yesterday when Hall recently received a “verified” mark on Twitter, as did the three so far confirmed names for induction this year; The Ultimate Warrior, Jake “The Snake” Roberts and Lita.
Hall himself further added fuel to the speculation by tweeting the following;
“Me @JakeSnakeDDT and @AmyDumas all verified at the same time. Hmmm….”
“Add @UltimateWarrior to that same list…hmmm”
Is that enough to warrant the speculation that an induction is pending? I’ll let you decide!

The latest WWE Hall of Fame 2014 inductee is Lita, it was confirmed on Raw last night.
The 38 year old who goes by the real name of Amy Dumas is the third inductee this year behind Ultimate Warrior and Jake Roberts. She will be the seventh Diva to ever be inducted, surely by her close friend and rival Trish Stratus.
The four time WWE Women’s Champion helped to transform the perception of female wrestling in her 1999 to 2006 career, showcasing a daredevil ring style and equally devilish Punk look. It was all a great contrast from the stereotypical 90′s WWE diva style of sexuality and gimmick matches — Lita alongside Trish Stratus made women’s wrestling all about Wrestling. Under the guidance of WWE trainer Fit Finlay, Lita and Trish pioneered a new athletic style for females in the WWE, eventually ending up in a stunning 2004 Raw main event championship win for Lita.

The 2014 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony already has two big names announced: The Ultimate Warrior and Jake Roberts. Warrior is expected to be the “headline” name meaning he would speak last while Roberts is definitely deserving of the honor.
In the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, two more names were revealed in terms of being likely inductees for the ceremony that will be held in New Orleans on Saturday April 5th.
The first name that seems like a lock is Paul Bearer, who passed away in early 2013. It was too late to induct him last year with the group already announced, so it makes sense that it would happen this year. WWE usually tends to induct a nominee that has passed away and Bearer seems like a lock at this point.
Recent Hall of Fame classes have also featured at least one female inductee. The name that Dave Meltzer mentioned was Lita.

Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts is to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this April 5th.
The announcement was made official during Monday Night Raw, with a video package illustrating some of the notable Roberts moments from the 80′s and 90′s. It’s been a long time coming, but the enigmatic powerhouse known as The Ultimate Warrior was announced as the first inductee in the 2014 class of the WWE Hall of Fame this week on Raw. Warrior didn’t exactly leave the company on the best of terms, known for negotiating ludicrous contracts and not satisfying his superiors with his work rate. But it seems that the many bridges he has burned have been restored by McMahon and co. as he is finally being recognized for his contributions to the company in his prime.
It’s no doubt that Warrior was a big deal and for at least a year-and-a-half was even more over than Hulk Hogan himself.
The question remains then, with such an infamous past, who should induct him into the Hall of Fame? Click “next” below as we explore the candidates…
