Amazing
TheFirst013 November 2020
The sequel to the Forest of Giant Trees is everything as good as its predecessor. The storytelling has been beautiful and with great animation, this isn't at all disappointing.

Not as incredible as Female Titan and Forest of Giant Trees, but still

Great episode. I was a bit disappointed they skimped on the animation here, though. This episode was in big part a flashback, so it's understandable. The flashback was really interesting and necessary for character development and storytelling. Eren and Levi got some more depth and the opening and ending sequences were pretty crazy.

Less action but still great

Warning: Spoilers
This was another great episode for character development of Eren. We also see more of Eren and Levi's relationship.

Recap: With the Female Titan still chasing after Levi's squad, Eren considers turning himself into his Titan form, but Levi tells him to choose to be either a monster or a member of the Recon Corps. As Eren remembers what he has learned from the squad, he realizes that the danger and sacrifice they all share is not what binds them - it is trust. Now it is up to Eren to make the decision of who he will trust.

Warning: Spoilers
This episode has Levi squad struggling to escape the female titan who is gaining ground on them three I'd a flashback that should of happened in episode 15 rather then here but its useful in making Eren trust the squad his trust pays off and the female titan gets captured the giant forsmest is just as creepy as last episode and Levi teaches Eren a useful lesson about trust 9/10.

Defining Greatness

Currently, I consider the Female Titan arc to be the most outstanding anime arc I have witnessed in years, although I have yet to view subsequent seasons. The episode's backstory plot was simply magnificent, incredible, and amazing. Despite not being flawless, I adore everything about this episode. Eren, Levi, and the Female Titan were my favorite characters in this episode, while the storyline, ending, and protagonists were my favorite aspects. In general, this initial season is simply amazing, making it perhaps the best show ever. When I say it's the best, I truly believe it from the bottom of my heart.

At this point, I feel like the Female Titan arc is the best anime arc I have seen in years, note that I haven't watched the next seasons though. The backstory plot in this episode was just magnificent and incredible, and amazing. I love everything about this episode, even though this wasn't perfect. Anyways, my favorite characters in this episode were Eren, Levi, and the female Titan. My favorite things about this episode were the storyline, the ending, and the protagonists. This is probably the best show of all time, because everything about this first season is just amazing. When I mean it, I mean it.

The pacing is horrible

Warning: Spoilers
First off i really loved the first arc and expecially the starting episodes but this animes pacing is god awful. I can already tell that the titan is annie just by her joining the mps and the titan looks just like her. Tho my main problem is that the cast has been on horses since soo long its getting boring.

Fine I guess???

Warning: Spoilers
Looks like they got a lot of scouts killed for absolutely nothing. They could have set up in the forest sooner. When they led her into the trap, why did scout after scout commit suicide on that titan? They didn't come close to slowing it down. Like 20 people died when you could do the same plan without killing off your already strained population. Never underestimate the scouts? yeah they will kill themselves at a moments notice, didn't estimate that...
