These four examples of hanky-panky from Adult Time/Gamma Entertainment's "Modern-Day Sins" series are all phony situations, lacking any credibility. Similar to a popular sister series Pure Taboo, the viewer is expected to be titillated with suspension of disbelief even though the situations depicted are generally silly or unbelievable. They serve as a set-up to the all-important sex footage.
A couple of vignettes rely upon the cute but fairly ridiculous format of a bed-hopping theatrical comedy. Codey Steele and his girlfriend Lexi Luna go shopping at a women's clothing boutique, and the horny manager Bella Rolland keeps having sex with Codey right under clueless Lexi's nose. It becomes preposterous in a sort of split screen sequence in which he's humping Bella right next to the changing room where Lexi is trying on costumes she might buy. Codey also has time to have sex with Lexi too. I suppose it's meant to be humorous, but it comes off as stupid.
Quite similar is a scene of Ryan Driller trying (stupidly) to try an explain a bracelet his wife Bella Rolland (a quite different character this time) finds in their bed, belonging to Jewelz Blu, his girlfriend. He gets to have sex, sequentially with both of them and eventually Bella can prove her man was unfaithful.
A different sort of scene has faux incest overdone. Penny Barber has sex with her stepson Ricky Spanish, and in true silly fashion they're caught in the act by busty Chloe Surreal, who happens to be Penny's step-niece and Ricky's step-cousin. All this step nonsense simply makes the resulting hot threesome silly, but of course it's all that matters, play-acting be damned.
Another vignette doesn't try to make sense. Pals Alison Rey and Jesse Pony both make a play for Robby Echo, both succeed in seducing him and then all three have sex together. As director by the Anatomik Media team, it's utterly fake, little more than a day's work for three sex workers "acting'.
