As an American viewer I don't know if it is possible to have an outright heroin dealer in public and make it legal, but maybe Canada knows something that I don't know.
This was a huge step up from the first episode though and made me anxious to see the rest of the season. This felt like a real and relatable issue to a lot of people and they did not simply resort to all of the cliches that shows like this always do when it comes to drugs: they acknowledged all of the danger associated with it.
I think CTV has something with Allegiance and I look forward to how it goes from here in the coming weeks.
