"Running on Emtpy" proved to me that this show made the right move in making Sabrina Sohal the lead. She provides the depth of the racist issues that her character and her family faces, but also someone who is young and who is learning on this job.
I feel like they were way too lenent on the runner who was involved in the car theft though. She was stealing cars, she stole money, she ran away from them and she barely got any jail time. It seemed like they made a big deal of the fact that she would get any time at the end when she needed to for all she did. That was really my only major complaint though.
