Warning: Spoilers
After so many episodes full of action and battles, comes a relief. Neji is accompanied by two shinobis on their way to the battle front. Neji warns them to pay attention, as both are distracted talking about the rumours concerning Madara and his battle against the five Kages. After defeating two Zetsus, they see the blast caused by the clash between Bijuu damas. They see that it came from the place they are heading to, but they'll go anyway, expecting to achieve war feats. At the headquarters, Shikaku leads the group, and is informed about the situation on each front. A shinobi collapses from exhaustion, so Shikaku comforts him saying their work has stress, even though not like in the battle. As the others talk and encourage each other, and laugh after Inoichi doesn't get what others meant for him to say, Shikaku observes the feelings of union which has aroused in the headquarters. So after learning the news of the battle between Kurama, the Hachibi, Kakashi and Gai against Tobi and the tailed beasts, he asks to send a message to all the shinobi who are heading to the new battlefield. Though it's going to be hard given how much people must be reached, Inoichi accepts the challenge. He updates everyone about Naruto, B, Kakashi and Gai's situation on the battlefront, that they are resisting, so tells that their feelings of union must reach them, and turn into a promise of victory. As soon as he ends the communication, his nose starts bleeding. Despite the nice message he sent, he still doesn't feel like a good speaker. Shikaku praises his efforts, silently. Meanwhile, all the surviving (healthy) ninjas are running despite the rain. A sequence of thoughts is shown among the Konoha friends. Ino thanks her dad, for sending Naruto's feelings to everyone, and intends for the promise to become true. Shikamaru ponders that Naruto wouldn't make a bold move given his temper. Choji claims how they used to be the fool and the fat, but things are not what they seem anymore. The thinner Choji will help the not so fool Naruto (great words from him). Shikamaru says he will make the cold headed plan his friend can't devise. Kiba thinks how he marked Naruto as his rival, and that he can take care of "Madara" until he arrives. Hinata thinks how she always chased Naruto, but after the war, she won't chase him anymore (good). Instead, she will be next to him, taking his hand (how bad). Shino will support Naruto with his ninjutsu, without reason at all. Tenten ponders about Gai sensei and Kakashi, but certain they will be fine protecting Naruto. Lee praises his sensei and Naruto's efforts, and encourages Sai to respond them. Sai seemingly now realizes what means a friend, and thinks that he finally understands Naruto. At last, Sakura feels how Naruto saved Konoha, and now he is trying to save the whole shinobi world. "You always get left with these insurmountable tasks. But no matter what you say this time... we're going to be together. Not just me. We are going to fight all together this time". These were all the messages and wishes from the Konoha friends. To begin, for some reason, Neji's wish was not showed or ever written. I'm not sure, but looks like Kishimoto had already decided who was going to be the sacrifice while he wrote manga 573. How bad. Then, for surely the same reason, the first shown wishes were from Hinata. Honestly, her words were selfish. The only thing that matters to her it to be next to Naruto. She hasn't been close to him during her whole life, she barely knows him, she doesn't even know how he feels about Jiraiya, Tsunade, the Kyuubi, Gaara, Chiyo, not even what he feels for Sakura. Her definition of love is poor. Love is to think about what the other person needs, and wants. Then, Kiba and Shino's messages were fine. Kiba surely has a more healthy true rivalry with Naruto. They are friends after all, in comparison to Sasuke. Shikamaru and Choji's wishes were the best. It was sad how Choji was treated in the past, same as Naruto. But now they are the strongest shinobi of their group. Shikamaru, a true friend, hoping to help Naruto in the way he can, by using his head. Ino, thanking her father, willing to save the world for him and everyone. Here, I have to praise Inoichi. He was great. A talented, smart, gentle, wonderful shinobi, great father, who is not a good speaker. He recognizes his failures, and that's a significant quality. The next, Tenten, ok message, showing concerns over the sensei (no one did). Lee, being as optimistic as usual, encouraging Sai, being a true friend for Naruto. Sai, finally gets what a friend means. As for Sakura, well, her message is from the heart. She is glad that Naruto has saved Konoha, and what he is doing now. She accepts it. But she is also worried about how always everything falls on his back, how he must be the only one to accomplish such tasks. That's why this time, she promises to be with him. She won't let him alone, she will help him. Stil, she is not self focused, and remembers that everyone will accompany him. That's why the best message is from her.

On the other hand, after the Gedo Mazo statue took back the tailed beasts, Tobi is surprised by Naruto's confidence. The protagonist tells that things are different, as he knows a lot of names, and has something the masked man hasn't. He mocks him, while Tobi is stunned. The villain has a strange sensation, like fear or shock, while staring at Naruto. He tries to convince himself that nothing has changed, everything is under control. He feels like sweat, but it's just the rain (Obito's right arm cannot sweat). Tobi thinks He knows Naruto's power, and that he is just a pawn to be used with Sasuke. He still feels something weird, but dismiss its relevance. Meanwhile, Gai starts to feel old when he notices how much Naruto grew. Kakashi teases him, and reminds him of their "youth", making him return to normal. Some place else, Sasuke walks alone under the rain. This part showed mainly Obito's nerves. It's clear that he never thought that Naruto, Kurama, B, and the Hachibi would defeat the six tailed beasts. He thought he had them captured with a logic six vs two. He dismissed Kakashi and Gai's role. Besides, aware of the real Madara's revival, Obito has realized that things start to look bad for him. To finish, Sasuke's last appearance lasted too much. It took like more than a minute. Was a little mistake at the end.
