This 1995 special was filmed eleven years after Richard Dawson ceased being the regular host of the original Family Feud.
Not surprisingly, Richard looked considerably older in this special; his hair was gray and he had put on a significant amount of weight. (But he lived another 17 years.)
Two of the stars featured in this special, Richard Dawson and Carrie Hamilton (Carol Burnett's daughter), are both buried at the same small cemetery: Westwood Village Memorial Park, in Los Angeles.
Richard was 54 years older than Carrie, but (since she died young due to cancer) he outlived her by 10 years.
Another star of this special, Betty White, was 10 years older than Richard Dawson, but she outlived him by 9 years (she almost made it to 100) .
And Carol Burnett, who is still with us (as of 2024), outlived all three.
