Another entertaining episode. The main storyline of family dynamics played well with Sam's side story. The "pumping" scene was particularly funny.
The only two issues with this episode, (it was not the storyline), but in the production.
1. Not using a tripod for filming.
Most, if not all scenes, look as though it was shot with a handheld camera. The micro-wobbles were really annoying. I don't know if they forgot the tripod or a bad stylistic choice.
2. I'm not familiar with the director of this episode, but she noticeably lacks the experience to direct at this level. The cut backs between character dialogues is ok the first couple of times but using it for each scene shows her inexperience. There were no variety. There were very few medium or long establishing shots. And she should, also, learn how to pan the camera properly.
A good episode ruin by poor directing.
