Self - Presenter: [Introduction] The 'QE2's arrival anywhere is always an event and today even nature reacts, choosing this morning to break Australia's worst drought of the century. As she reaches Sydney on her three-month Pacific cruise, the 'QE2' is greeted by the downpour for which the nation's waited months. Most of the 1400 passengers and a thousand crew have also been anticipating this great harbour into which despite the weather, they are not un-escorted. Some valiant Poms turn out to show their sodden flags and sound their sirens. Through the murk appears the symbol of Sydney, its coathanger bridge alongside the white cowls of the Opera House. Yes, this is Sydney alright, but where is the Australian summer ?
