This poem describes the experience Hannah Bonecutter has as an attractive woman that gets judged, spoken to, and thought about by men many times solely based on my looks. Presumptions are made regarding my intelligence level, network outreach, and lifetime experience(s) based on my physical attributes, regardless of what words may come out of her mouth or how she may appear on paper. Many times, these experiences make her wish those viewing her, particularly men, had blind eyes.
