Asking this show to not get political is something that is simply not going to happen, but this wasn't a boring episode because of those issues, it was just boring.
A really weak case, and it seemed like more about bad parents not knowing what their children were doing than anything else.
I also question whether or not Olivia would still be in the field, and if all of the NYPD would be so invested in a simple assault because it may or may not have been a hate crime. They have bigger issues to deal with.
