New York Dolls on tour in California, met the San Francisco audience at the Matrix Club on Sept. 4-5, 1973, to promote their debut album produced by Todd Rundgren. The set list included "Looking for a Kiss", "Personality Crisis", "Bad Girl" and "Jet Boy". The sound was raw, slightly out of tune and rattling, the whole thing seemed a bit unrehearsed or influenced by external circumstances.
