It opens up with a visually stunning scene, the landscape, filming, atmosphere are all incredible. The story is good, without being a classic, and it has a different feel to it, not just because of the rugged Scottish setting, but the seedy nightclub setting. It's well acted, I particularly liked Martin Compston in it, a role to the one he'd soon find huge success with in Line of Duty.
I'm intrigued, but not gripped, the visuals, and great choice of music make it very watchable. 7/10
