- A tiny film production house in Mumbai navigates everyday challenges while struggling under the leadership of an excitable, eccentric director and a sharp-tongued, openly gay producer. All, while being filmed by a documentary crew.
- Avi, an eccentric young film director, opens his own production company along with short-tempered, gay producer Joelle. Also in the team are Tarun; the uptight finance guy, Anshuman; the 40-something office boy who doesn't like to be called an office boy, and the starry-eyed intern, Ishika. With different goals in mind for the company, Avi and Joelle spend most of their days at loggerheads. Tarun and Anshuman are far opposites but more often than not, land up in situations together, and Ishika is-well-mostly excited, usually confused, and foolishly enthusiastic about getting to work in the film industry. Chaos ensues when this rag-tag group comes together to make everything from nothing-budget corporate videos to holy-cow-budget commercials. Shot in the style of mockumentary classics like 'The Office', 'Borat', or 'This is Spinal Tap', and exploring themes of friendship, family, and feuds; the series is an insight into how these young (not including Anshuman) filmmakers navigate their personal and professional lives while just trying to-as Avi puts it-"make cool shit". It is also a peek into what goes into making films and the perils that befall a small fish in the big pond that is Bollywood.
